Down the street from one of our favorite ice cream stores, Kubo in Nutley, is Ochado – ocha meaning “tea” and chado meaning “way of tea.” A must-try is their Okinawa pearl milk tea, especially if you’re a fan of the popular brown sugar bubble tea. Okinawa is a Japanese sweet drink consisting of a black tea base with milk and brown sugar syrup. Also try a boba drink from their cheesecake series or their halo-halo (Filipino shaved ice dessert).
